Development of cyanobacteria for CO2 sequestration and storage
In collaboration with Cassiopea Inc., we are developing a biotechnological proof-of -concept using cyanobacteria and E. coli that will lead to a product allowing sequestration of large amounts of CO2 directly from the atmosphere, or from gasses emitted from highly-polluting factories (e.g., cement production).
